Directly talking to people - why not? We may as well have direct constant internet standing polls, from official representatives, with President starting, where public, one SSN per vote, would vote, with checkbox "advise" or "binding" perhaps ...But then this old question comes - who really decides? Direct democracy - majority votes, or elected representatives, specialists, politicians? ..Since specialists ought to be here, in my view, really to advice public, it really should be that direct public instant vote to decide ...... elections will take 1 day then and elected politicians will become managers, administrators of public votes results . good, I think.
