Hybrids done right: 2010 Mercedes S400 BlueHybrid, 295 hp, 0-60 5.4sec, 21c/29h mpg. But there is more - 70 mpg future S500, 0-60 5.5sec. S400 has 20 hp electric motor and small .9 kWhour li-ion battery. Cars today on the streets should NOT be allowed to idle/run engine while stopped/ or NOT to recuperate braking energy anymore
